Heather in the Smoky Mountains

Welcome to
Heather's Homepage

Hi again! Lots of things have been going on recently, but I finally found a little time to update my web site. I hope you enjoy all the new pictures and faces, especially the little fuzzy black one :)

The addition of Resin to our home is probably the most exciting thing that has happened in the last year. She is a lot of work, but worth every minute! We got her the end of November and she grew so fast, some mornings when we woke up she looked like she had grown overnight! Resin is now a whopping 62 pounds and our vet says she's done growing, but I won't believe that until I see it. She is in puppy obedience class and is learning the basics (sit, stay, come) while Steve and I are learning to train her effectively. It's been lots of fun, and Resin has even tried out the agility course set up next to the building where she has classes.

Besides the addition of Resin, Steve and I have been keeping ourselves busy with other fun stuff (kayaking, hiking, and camping). We've also been doing a fair amount of traveling, and will continue to do so this fall for more kayaking (it's Gauley season) and some work related stuff.

If you'd like to get a hold of us, you can email me at heatherj@geosc.psu.edu. In the meantime, take care and keep in touch!

-Heather
